For more than 25 years, Mike “Mazin” Samona has served as the CEO of Wild Bill’s Tobacco, a tobacco company headquartered in Roseville, Michigan with more than a hundred retail locations. Under Mike “Michael” Samona’s supervision, Wild Bill’s Tobacco shops feature a distinct area called Mr. Vapor that focuses on electronic cigarettes and vaping devices.
People use vaping devices to inhale an aerosol that generally contains flavoring, nicotine (though not necessarily), and other substances. They can look like conventional tobacco cigarettes or pipes, or even common things like pens or USB memory sticks. Other devices, such as those with refillable tanks, may have a distinct appearance. Regardless of their shape and appearance, these gadgets work in nearly the same manner and are made up of comparable components.
Most e-cigarettes consist of a reservoir or cartridge (for holding e-juice or e-liquids), a heating element, a battery or an alternative power source, and a mouthpiece that users put in their mouth when inhaling the vapor.
The battery-powered heating devices are activated by puffing, which causes the cartridge’s liquid to vaporize. As the liquid evaporates, the resulting aerosol or vapor is inhaled by the user.
